Having previously worked with the homeowners on their basement, we returned to reimagine the kitchen, living room, and two bathrooms for their young family. Their love of mid-century modern design inspired a warm, Midwestern-influenced palette of rich woods, natural stone, earthy colour, and clean lines.

The kitchen’s marble, sourced during an industry trip to Milan, became the jumping-off point for the palette throughout the home. In an unexpected full-circle moment, Bryant Builders—brought on for the renovation—turned out to have built the original house for its first owners nearly fifteen years earlier.

The result is a home that feels warm, relaxed, and full of personality, while working beautifully for everyday family life.
