Residential Design
In this heritage home on a hobby farm, the original kitchen was small, closed off, and unable to support clients who love to cook and bake. By removing a central wall, we completely reworked the layout to create a spacious, highly functional kitchen centered around a generous island with ample prep space.
We preserved the character of the original beams and wide-plank floors, pairing them with a cheerful green palette that brings warmth and freshness to the home. A small seating area adjacent to the kitchen features newly upholstered vintage chairs, creating the perfect spot for a coffee in the morning or an aperitif after dinner. The result is an inviting, hardworking kitchen that feels both modern and true to its farmhouse roots.
